Information gathered by Use It Better™ does not in fact vary from typical website statistics. Neither user’s hostname nor IP address or any other private data are recorded. Hence, without any additional information and context a visitor can by no means be identified as a real person. Anything a user enters in a form is by default obfuscated not to reveal any personal credentials.

How do I integrate Use It Better™ with my website?

You need to download our framework and integrate it with your flash movie. Some tweaks to your original code may be necessary to achieve accurate replay. More on our wiki.

Is my website compatible with Use It Better™?

There are just a few requirements:

• your website has to be written in ActionScript 2 or 3,
• you will need to recompile your Adobe Flash movie – make sure you have the source files,
• if your website is hosted in your local network or intranet make sure it can access our servers.

What about Flex and AIR

Use It Better works with Flex but not with AIR.

Can I analyze my rich media ads?

It depends on terms and conditions of the ad network you’re using as most of services doesn’t allow connecting third parties servers. You also have to keep in mind that Use It Better framework when compiled to SWF means additional 30-40KB.

Can I record HTML+AJAX websites?

It’s possible yet it’s not offically supported.
